The Tiger Woods of Jigsaws

Making some shims to level our cabinet.

Cabinet level with temporary shims.

Somehow he's cutting diagonal lines on a saw meant to only cut straight.

Notice I'm trying to lean away.  The saw was making all kinds of noises and smoking. Meanwhile....

Big Norm decides those sounds mean he's going to put his hand closer and lean in tighter.  Apparently, knowing what you're doing gives you more confidence.

Big Norm showing me how to level the cabinent.  He never said "you're an idiot" or "putting a tool in your hand is like giving the keys to the car to a 5 year old," but I'm pretty sure he thought it.

Dead-level son!

That's Big Norm cutting a straight line with a jigsaw upside-down.  He's the Tiger Woods of jigsawing.  Not in the, "he uses a different jigsaw in every town without his wife knowing kind of way," but more of a trick-shot way.
